Meet our Staff

   Steve Blazier -    Owner / General Manager & "Big Dog Extraordinaire"

Steve has an affinity towards all pets and sees to the business end of things.  In addition to sitting for the pets, he handles all client interviews, accounting, marketing, scheduling, and  public relations.  He spent the last twenty years in the financial services industry.  As a college student, Steve “free-lanced” as a pet sitter for friends and family.  He is Pet Tech certified in Pet First Aid.  Originally from New Jersey, he has lived in Orange County  since  1996.   He resides in Irvine with his wife, Kristi, and their cocker spaniel, "Bailey".

   Karyn Allen -    Pet Specialist & "Little Dog Aficionado"

Karyn joined While You R Away® - Irvine in February 2008.  She is a regular on our mid-day walk schedule and also handles many of our overnight assignments. She has an immense love for all animals, and loves to visit animal sanctuaries and habitats when traveling.  Since 2001, she has been involved in volunteering with various dog rescue organizations and is currently an active volunteer at the City of Irvine - Animal Care Center. She resides in Anaheim Hills with her husband, Richard, and their dog, "Pooh Bear".

   Corinne Hoelscher -    Pet Specialist  & Resident Cat "Expert"

Corinne joined us in July 2008 having previously worked for a veterniary clinic the past three years.  When she is not working full-time as a hair stylist, she is a regular on our mid-day walk schedule and helps out with weekend visits and overnights.   She owns three cats - "Buddy", "Checkers", & "Toby".
