“Two years ago I moved backed to California with my two cats,  Bella and Casey.  Casey was a 17 year old male who simply was the best friend a person could have.  In October of 2006, Casey’s kidneys failed and through a miracle, made a recovery but had to be on kitty "dialysis" daily.  He needed sub-q fluids once a day to maintain kidney function and hydration.  Not a big deal to get, just a big deal to give.  I found While You R Away through the web and knew this was a perfect fit. As a retail executive,  I work sixteen-hour days and travel one week every month.  It was not an option for Casey not to get the care he needed.  So I hired While You R Away to come to my house daily to make sure Casey got his fluids.  They did this for the next sixteen months.  They happily kept up the pace when we moved to Laguna Beach, and further agreed to care for another cat when I adopted Oreo.  All I can say is that there is none better than While You R Away!   Casey lived a charmed life because of their services and made great friends in the process.  Sadly, Casey passed away on February 27, 2008.  The entire staff of While You R Away supported me and came to my home to  memorialize Casey.  For anyone looking for pet care there is no other place to look.  Thank you and god bless the group at “While You R Away.”

"I had been looking for a pet sitter for several weeks and While You R Away came highly recommended. I initially met with owners, Steve and Julia, and introduced our Shar-Pei, named "Pei", and our cat, "Oliver", to them.  They were professional and courteous, plus both of the animals took to them immediately. After that first meeting I was comfortable with them and their business model.  I signed on and gave them a key to my home.  We did a few 'practice' runs to make sure Pei was OK with them coming into the house.  Each day there is a summary page outlining the time spent with the animals, which is fantastic.  I can see if our pets were walked, if they played with toys, if they went to the bathroom, if they ate, etc. This is an extremely valuable tool for the owner.  I can't say enough about While Your Away and I will use them again without hesitation.  Additionally, I would, and have, recommended them to other families with pets.  I can say from experience that you will not be disappointed."
