Philanthropy 

In growng our business, While You R Away - Irvine is further committed to the communities which we work in as well as several pet related causes.   We are a yearly contributor to the Irvine Animal Care Center, chosen as America's "Pet Shelter of the Year in 2008".   We were a Silver Sponsor at the Annual Pet Trek Events in 2006 and 2008.   To date we have donated over $4,000 to the IACC.   

We are also proud to announce that begining in 2009, we will donate a portion of our profits to our newest pet cause - Best Friends Animal Society, a nationally recognized, non-profit animal shelter and organization.   For more information on Best Friends, click on the link above or the icon below. 

We have gone GREEN!!

While You R Away - Irvine is equally committed to the environment as well.  We are striving to be a completely paperless company.  Through the use of our automated scheduling and billing systems, we have eliminated 99% of all outgoing mail and office printing, as well as providing all invoicing and service confirmations exclusively by email to our clients.

We  purchase only rapid bio-degradable pet waste bags for use in the field.  And don't be surprised to find us watering your household or outdoor plants with your pet's unused water bowl.  Finally, we ask that everyone that visits our website do their share by picking up after your pet(s) each and every day.  Pet waste that is allowed to sit can easily contaminate ground water and the surrounding area.  It can also cause disease among other pets that come into contact with the waste.   Thanks for your support.
