A Note from Beverly:

As a pet owner all of my life, I know how important it is to find someone that you can trust to treat your pets and your home like they would treat their own. I became interested in pet sitting after boarding my beloved kitty during a one-week vacation.

The facility seemed top-notch and she was supposed to have her own space, but when I returned home I found that she had come down with a virus and she was not at all pleased with me. I promised her that I would never put her through that again and have hired a pet sitter ever since.

In 2004, I met Linda Valentine and Michael Klein of While You R Away - South. I was offered the opportunity to become a pet sitter myself and I jumped at the chance. I loved working with the pets and learned from the best in the business how to provide the highest quality pet care available. Soon I became a Supervisor and when Linda and Michael took their own vacations, I was chosen to take care of their own home and pets as well as to run their bustling business.

In 2008, I took the next step and opened the third While You R Away location just west of Linda and Michael's Ladera Ranch area. I have never enjoyed a profession as much as I enjoy taking care of pets. Each of the pets is unique & special and each day is filled with the laughter and love that only a pet can provide.

It is such a pleasure to get to know these wonderful companions with all of their different personalities, loves, fears, quirks, favorite toys and napping spots. I enjoy them all and I am thankful each and every day that I can make a living doing what I love.
