Michael Klein President/Founder
Michael co-owns and operates the South County location and is the creative genius behind While You R Away®. He spent over 30 years in the service and retail industry before following his true love - working with animals. While Michael never minds sitting for the clients’ pets, he is more at home on the marketing side of things. He resides in Ladera Ranch with his wife, Linda, their daughter, Lindsey, and their two dogs and two cats.

Linda J. Valentine Vice President / Owner- Operator
Linda is the heart and soul of the business with a passion for pets. She is responsible for all client relations and the day to day scheduling of services. She decided to leave a successful career in the corporate world to pursue her dream of caring for pets.

Lindsey - Pet Specialist
Lindsey is the “ultimate” pet lover. Currently a Sophamore At Saddleback College, her long-term goal is to attend a top veterinarian college such at UC Davis. She hopes to receive her degree in veterinarian sciences as a licensed doctor. She has one horse named " Spirit " which is the love of her life, and three dogs and a cat that she spoils every chance she gets. She works part time for While You R Away®. She is also a shareholder in the company and is very involved with the day to day business functions.She just completed a semester in London, England where she traveled the european countryside exploring such counties as Amsterdam, Brussels, Italy, Scotland,Ireland and England.
